Core Nutrition is a Weight Inclusive, Non-Dieting and Body-Positivity aligned practice.
Hello! I'm Elke Supple, Accredited Nutritionist (AN) and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and founder of Core Nutrition.
I have three special interest areas that I work in:
One is in eating habits and behaviours, sensory eating, body image and weight concerns, and recovery from dieting and eating disorders.
Another interest is in food intolerances and allergies, and all health conditions pertaining to the gut, liver and pancreas.
My other special interest is in auto-immune and hormone conditions, such as of the thyroid, arthritis or fibromyalgia.
I choose to teach and use wholefoods as Medical Nutrition Therapy as much as possible. With over 19 years of experience, with a focus on my areas of interest, I use a collection of scientific evidence-based approaches to deliver the support and education you need, in a way that's colourful, makes-sense and is respectful (no shame blaming here). This way you can "help yourself" in the future.
I believe that optimal health is possible for everyone who chooses it, no matter your background, your medical conditions or your size. I work with adults, children and their families to help bring joy around food in your home.
My aim is to make a significant and lasting impact on your health and well-being. Visit me at one of my locations, or via Telehealth phone or online video consultation. Here at Core Nutrition, we believe that you are a shining star, and your life is worth fighting for - and WE are your game-changer.
Welcome to Core Nutrition.

She also has first-hand experience, and family experiences of dealing with food allergies, emotional overeating, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger's Syndrome, Insulin Resistance, Fructose malabsorption, allergy to environmental triggers, chronic eczema and vegetarian/vegan eating.
Elke Supple has done further training in scientifically proven approaches including the Monash University Low FODMAPS diet, the RPAH Elimination (failsafe) Diet, the Ellyn Satter Institute Feeding Therapy, ASCIA Food Allergy training, Health At Every Size (HAES) ® approach, the Non-Diet Approach (NDA), Motivational Interviewing (an effective counselling method) and, the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) psychological method to create a personalised plan just for you and your children. She has also done a Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine.
As you can see, she has applied many of her skills to her own life, and to her children, whom have ASD.
When you meet Elke you'll see she is passionate about healthy wholefoods and cooking from scratch as much as possible. Outside of work you'll catch her having fun mucking around with her children or dancing.
